Congratulations to the 2008 At The Buzzer Fall League Champions: Team A.W.O.L.
Congratulations to the 2008 At The Buzzer Fall League Playoffs Most Valuable Player: Sean Hoar. This is Sean's 2nd Championship. Sean "Showtime" Hoar averaged 13 points per game during the playoffs. This is the lowest average from a Playoffs M.V.P. in league history, but that's all he needed because Team A.W.O.L. defeated their opponents by a margin of 13.6 points per game.
So another season is in the books. The #4 seed upset the #1 seed and the #3 seed to become victorious. We Got Guns were the biggest team in the league, and many considered Team ATB to be the deepest. A.W.O.L. managed to play hard when it mattered and thus earned the crown.
So this is your boy's 3rd Finals Appearance, and 3rd Finals Loss. I'm starting to feel that I'm never going to win a championship in my own league, so it looks like I may hang it up after the Christmas Break and enter a different league. Big ups to all the teams that made this league possible. It's always a joy to bring people together through basketball.
2008. What a year. I finally graduated college. At The Buzzer boutique opened. Barack Obama is the President-Elect. 2009 should be iller!
Hope to see ya'll next season. It's going down Mid-January 2009. There's a possibility that there will be 2 divisions due to the heavy demand of teams wanting to join!
Ya'll know where to find me. 81 Harvard Ave. At The Buzzer. All league players received 10% off hats and select footwear.
Be safe and stay blessed!! The Commissioner signing out.

Congratulations to the 2008 At The Buzzer Fall League Most Valuable Player: Rathana Ny (Ball 4 Fun). Rathana Ny aka The Dirty Rotten Cambo aka The DRC averaged better than 27 points per game and was the main reason his squad made the playoffs. Big ups to the DRC!
Unfortunately his squad was ousted early, becoming another victim of the M.V.P. curse. After the inception of the M.V.P. award, only 1 player has gone on to win the championship, and that was back in 2004. Ever since than, the M.V.P. has become synonymous with no championship. The curse of the #1 seed has been reversed last season by Puma, so We Got Guns has nothing to worry about. The top four teams advance to the Semi-Finals. It's going down tomorrow! To the teams that were ousted early, prepare for the 2009 At The Buzzer Winter League! Stay Tuned. It's going down tomorrow!!!!!! Win or Go HOME!

ATB Fall League Week 7: Player of the Week - Kevin Emmons (We Got Guns)
ATB Fall League Week 8: Player of the Week - Chris Hamlett (Do Work)
On Week 7, Kevin Emmons aka K-OS was on beastmode. He played valiantly against a scrappy Los Extraterrestre team and scored 17 points in the 1st half. He continued to put in work in the 2nd half in the paint, and finished with 30 points en route to a We Got Guns victory. K-OS is the most versatile big man in the League, and he proved it on Week 7. K. Emmons finished the regular season scoring 15.8 points per game. If K-OS has the baseline, it's pretty much a wrap like Caesar.
On Week 8, Chris Hamlett aka The Ham aka The Elevator put on a clinic against Ohm City. He scored a season high 31 points including some incredible one handed bangers. Already received a POTW award on Week 6, C. Hamlett is the only player to win this acknowledgement twice this season. C. Hamlett has helped Do Work tremendously throughout this season. When you see the The Ham coming, just step off the tracks.
Playoffs starts tomorrow, and it's win or go home! 8 teams. 1 champion. Who will reign? Who will feel pain? Who will go Christmas shopping early? Congratulations to all the squads who have clinched and to the teams that were eliminated from playoffs contention, thank you for a great season, and I hope to see you guys back next season!
Playoffs start tomorrow. Obama won the election. What an exciting couple of weeks. Who will step up tomorrow to win their playoff game? Will you feel pain like McCain? Or will you bring a win home for mama like Obama? Stay tuned.

ATB Fall League Week 6: Player of the Week - Bipin Tamang (FTW)
Bipin Tamang aka B-Low aka Nepal's Finest aka Baby Iverson went to work last week against Team UN. He scored an ATB Fall League leading high 39 points en route to his squad's first victory. FTW finally lived up to their name. B. Tamang, last season's regular season Most Valuable Player, was the youngest ever to receive the award. Unfortunately, this season his team doesn't look like they'll reach the post-season, unless you believe in miracles like USA vs Russia's hockey game in the Olympics. So the playoffs are 2 weeks away. Which teams will prevail, which teams will fail? Which teams will arise? The question remains. Elite 8 in 2 weeks!
NBA season tipping off this week!
BTW, why were people at JAMN 945's Monster Jam booing Jay-Z aka a God MC? I think it's because Lil' Wayne failed to show up, but who cares when the Jigga-Man gets to kill the set for a longer period of time. Kids these days.
HOVA!
Less than a week til election day. OBAMA KNOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay warm, peace, and love.

ATB Fall League Week 5: Player of the Week - Chris Hamlett (Do Work)
Chris Hamlett aka The Elevator rose to the occasion on Week 5. He scored 25 points in a tough/scrappy battle against team AWOL. Since the acquisition of Hamlett, Do Work has been improving every week. Leading the squad with 22.3 points per game including some incredible above the rim bangers, everyone should get their camera/camcorders/phone cameras ready. The Elevator is now in service. On Week 5, we had our first player suspension of the season. If for whatever reason, you need to address the referee, please do so in a professional way. You can't abuse the referee verbally, physically, and/or with obscenities. We have a zero tolerance policy for that. A 2nd strike will result to a permanent ban.
Other than that, the playoffs are creeping closer and it's time to determine who are the contenders and the pretenders. The Mid-Season report will be up soon by the Ghostwriter. We will also continue team pictures this week and up until the end of the regular season.
NBA season starts in a week! Banner #18? Back to back?
City of champs. J. Son out.
Peace & Love,

ATB Fall League Week 4: Player of the Week - Jarri Cash (Blaze)
Jarri Cash aka The Cash Money Baller was just ridonculous last week. With only 4 players to start the game, The CMB went hard at the opposition. He was so wet they had to wipe him down like Lil' Boosie. He hit 5 three-pointers in the 1st half and finished the game with 30 points en route to a 20+ point victory. He can drive, dish, rebound, and shoot the j. Watch out for the CMB!In other league news, the two undefeated teams were finally beat on Week 4. We Got Guns lost to ATB and Ball 4 Fun lost to Angry Beavers. Looks like no one will be going undefeated this season. Angry Beavers finally won their 1st game, while FTW is still win-less. They need a whole lot of winning and other teams to lose in order to clinch a playoffs berth.
Team Photos will continue next week. 20 days til election day!
Just believe!

ATB Fall League Week 2: Player of the Week - Andrew Cho/Drew Rautenberg (Team ATB)
ATB Fall League Week 3: Player of the Week - Peter Uzoma (We Got Guns)
The Dynamic Duo of Drew "The Great White Hype" Rautenberg & Andrew "The Cho-Sen One" Cho combined for 52 points en route to a double-overtime victory over Do Work. One of the best games of
this season, Do Work's duo of Jamil "The Real Deal" Abdullah and Tony "T-Dub" Watts also combined for 50. The Great White Hype is no stranger to getting buckets. He's a top ten scorer in every season he participates in. Andrew Cho aka "The Cho-Sen One" is also making a case for M.V.P. honors. Watch out for the Cho-Sen One.
Peter Uzoma aka the Uzi. He single handledly put We Got Guns on his back on Week 3 and helped defeat Do Work in a tough battle. Also watch out for Week 1 Player of the Week Rathana Ny aka The Dirty Rotten Cambo from Ball 4 Fun. He's leading the league in scoring and he's like 5'3". Leave him open and you'll pay. Both of these players have helped their squads stay undefeated. We Got Guns and Ball 4 Fun are the only teams to be undefeated thus far. We also have a few win-less teams. Angry Beavers and FTW. They need to start winning some games or they can start their Christmas Shopping/Vacationing early.
Last week (Week 3) we had a tough game between Do Work and We Got Guns. I know trash-talking is all part of the game, but keep everything on the court. No need to get in each other's grillys too, cause someone might have stank breath kickin' like Liu Kang. This is a gentleman's league, so let's respect each other, the referees, the commish (yours truly) and the A.T.B. officials. Let's continue to keep it peaceful. Sorry for the lack of updates, been busier than an immigrant working a 12 hour shift. Week 4 is in the midst, so team pictures this week! Check the forums for the latest updates. Playoffs Eligibility, Team Photos, Announcements..ETC.

ATB Fall League Week 1: Player of the Week - Rathana Ny (Ball 4 Fun)
Rathana Ny aka The Dirty Rotten Cambo aka The DRC is no stranger to getting buckets. He was poopin' on Week 1, scoring 18 points in one half. He finished with a team high 24 points en route to a double digit victory over Ohm City. Watch out for The DRC or you'll be sorry. He's one dirty mother (shut yo' mouth), but I'm just talkin' about Rot.
We've got 12 teams. A new season. A new slate. Another opportunity to win that coveted championship. It's your boy's 12th season, and I have yet to win one, so it's not exactly a walk in the park. We Got Guns is as advertised. They got some GUNS. Two key acquisitions, The Uzi, & Kevin Emmons aka K-OS. Full mid-season report by the Ghostwriter coming on Week 4!

It's been a long time, since I left you, with a dope league to step to. What's good ya'll. It's your boy Joon aka J. Son. I've been busy with the shop lately, but I'm coming back to bring you guys another season from one of the illest leagues in the Bean. The name has changed more times than Sean Combs, but it's now the At The Buzzer aka ATB league. New website: www.atbleague.com coming soon! New name, same dope formula.
